You don’t need previous experience in software testing, programming, or IT. The course starts from the basics and gradually introduces you to the concepts, techniques, tools, and practices that QA professionals use in their everyday work. All you need is basic computer knowledge and the motivation to learn.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn what QA and software testing really are, how QA fits into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and how software is tested throughout the development process. You’ll learn how to analyze requirements, identify what needs to be tested, and create clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.
A major part of the course focuses on finding, documenting, and managing bugs. You’ll learn how to recognize a defect, write a professional bug report, understand the Bug Life Cycle, and clearly communicate issues to developers and other members of the team. We’ll also cover important QA concepts such as testing types, test case execution, regression testing, retesting, severity, priority, and more.
